Dr. White's previous academic career involved designing and leading international multi-year research projects investigating human health, using controlled experimental designs and qualitative thematic analysis. He has successfully secured over $300,000 in research grant funding to lead multidisciplinary teams, investigating human health-seeking behaviors. His research has led him to collaborating with institutions across states, and in Germany, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. Much of this research has been published in leading academic journals, including Scientific Reports.
Beyond his academic work, Dr. White served as a Research Analyst for the Institute for Children's Research and Policy, where he specialized in translating complex data for public stakeholders. He managed large-scale community assessments for Southern Nevada, producing reports that informed the Nevada State Legislature on critical state-wide policy decisions.
Most recently, Jacob has applied his expertise to the technology sector as a researcher at Google. In this role, he led cross-functional teams to execute research for Google Messages, transforming complex user data into actionable strategies for digital product development.
